Group Captive

Group Captive Solar Solutions for Long-Term, Low-Cost Renewable Power

A structured, compliant and cost-efficient model for industries to access renewable energy without upfront land or asset ownership.

Group Captive Solar enables multiple consumers to collectively own a stake in a solar plant and receive long-term power at predictable tariffs.
At Soleos, we design, develop, and operate Group Captive plants backed by strong engineering, disciplined execution, and project development expertise, giving industries a reliable pathway to clean energy adoption while meeting compliance norms.

What Is Group Captive Solar?

Shared Ownership. Shared Savings. Long-Term Clean Power.

A Group Captive structure allows multiple industrial or commercial consumers to collectively invest in a renewable energy project. As per regulatory requirements, consumers must collectively own at least 26% equity in the plant and consume a minimum of 51% of the generated power.

This model offers the benefits of captive power without requiring a single entity to build or own an entire asset.
